The Assam Government has declared to provide media fellowship to the eligible journalists working in the State for their research works. The necessary guidelines for such fellowhsips will soon be formulated by the I & PR department.
A total number of 20 such fellowships will be given to the journalists each year starting from the financial year 2017-18.
